The starting point, or zeroth kilometer, of the expressway is located at the Puncak Perdana U10 Shah Alam intersection, making it a central hub that connects a wide range of neighborhoods and key areas within the region. This intersection is vital for providing seamless access to residential areas like Puncak Perdana, Alam Suria, Denai Alam, and Kampung Melayu Subang, while also serving as a gateway to major roads such as Jalan Sungai Buloh. Additionally, it facilitates connectivity to important landmarks, including the Rubber Research Institute of Malaysia (RRIM), and bustling urban centers like Kota Damansara, Damansara Perdana, and Mutiara Damansara. These connections make the expressway an indispensable part of the region’s infrastructure, offering convenience and reducing travel time for residents and commuters alike.
As the expressway stretches onward, it concludes at the Penchala interchange, which is a critical endpoint for linking this expressway with two other major transportation routes—the Damansara–Puchong Expressway (LDP) and the Sprint Expressway. This linkage further enhances its role as a major transit corridor, allowing for efficient movement between suburban and urban areas. By connecting various residential, commercial, and industrial zones, the expressway contributes significantly to the region's economic activity, enabling businesses to thrive while improving the daily lives of commuters. Its strategic placement and extensive reach underscore its importance as a backbone of connectivity, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted travel across the interconnected network of highways and key destinations.
